SUMMER SIGHTSEEING & HIKING

The ultimate alpine hiking experience, summer sightseeing has something to offer every level of visitor. Challenge yourself by hiking the Blackcomb Ascent Trails, three interconnected uphill hiking trails that meander through beautiful old-growth coastal rainforest terrain from Whistler’s valley bottom to the Rendezvous Lodge on Blackcomb Mountain, or simply hop on either the Whistler Village or Blackcomb Gondolas and be whisked to the top of the mountains.

The view at the top will make your head spin – 360-degree mountain views featuring ancient glaciers, alpine lakes, and beautiful wildflower displays. Explore over 50kms of hiking trails.

Don’t miss out on the multiple record-breaking Peak 2 Peak Gondola spanning the distance between Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains. This 11 minute long gondola ride is anything from ordinary; the world's highest lift of this type featuring the longest unsupported span and making up 1 part of 3 connecting high-speed gondolas equaling the world's longest continuous lift system. You’ll be treated to amazing mountain vistas as far as the eye can see – check out the glass bottom cabin for an extra special treat!

WHISTLER MOUNTAIN BIKE PARK

The Whistler Mountain Bike Park will open with regular and extended play. There is a bike park option for every rider; start with a free orientation from one of the standby guides at the top of the Fitzsimmons Express or book an Intro to the Park lesson to get you started with the fundamentals. If you’re already a seasoned rider check-in with the expert coaches to bring your riding to the next level. If you decide to go without a guide be sure to review the Orientation Guide prior to your ride to match your ability with the terrain.

Guests are reminded that face coverings will be required in all lift lines and must be worn underneath full-face helmets in these areas as well. There is no drinking or eating permitted in lift lines. Social distancing procedures will be in place.
