Where is Whistler?
If you’re a devoted skier or boarder you’ve probably already heard all about Whistler.
Home to a legendary two-mountain resort, Whistler Blackcomb, which offers guests over 8,100 acres of skiable slopes, 16 alpine bowls, 3 glaciers, and a world-class terrain park. Put shortly, Whistler is a dream destination for skiers and snowboarders from all around the world.
But where is Whistler?
Whistler is located above the state of Washington in British Columbia, Canada. More specifically a 2-hour drive north of Vancouver in the beautiful Coast Mountains.
While Whistler may be tucked away up in the mountains, it’s easily accessible from almost anywhere. Travel by air, via transfers, or by car, truck, or motorcycle.
The Sea-to-Sky Highway offers a stunning backdrop for your ride up the Sea-to-Sky Corridor as you travel the ocean into the mountains. And that’s just by car, you could take a float plane here if you want!
Getting Around Whistler
One of our favourite things about Whistler is how easy it is to get around and experience everything it has to offer. One minute you can be having a coffee in the village and the next you’re strolling on a forest trail immersed in nature.
From the impressive Valley Trail to the daunting Peak 2 Peak Gondola, Whistler has some extremely memorable transport options.
