Whistler Blackcomb’s Fire & Ice Show

Whistler Blackcomb’s Fire and Ice show will be back for the winter in early January. Every Sunday evening, enjoy a breathtaking firework show, and talented athletes perform mind-blowing tricks for the crowd. It’s free for all and held at the base of Whistler Village, beside the Whistler Gondola. Not only do the athletes perform spins and tricks off large jumps, stay long enough, and you might get to see them fly through a ring of fire!

Ice Skating in Olympic Village

Take the family ice skating in the heart of the village under hundreds of twinkling lights. A unique pre or post-dinner experience, located between Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains, where you will surround yourself with magnificent mountain vistas. The rink is open 11 AM to 8:30 PM each day until late March, with select times for maintenance and holiday schedules. Admission is $2, and you can bring your own skates or rent for an additional $6.

A Twinkle Light Stroll

Enjoy the village in a different light. After the sun goes downthe stroll lights up with thousands of multi-coloured lights. Every inch of the stroll is covered in beautiful lights for your visual pleasure. Each tree is dressed up in different lights, almost as if it’s straight out of a Dr. Seuss book. If you don’t get enough from the village lights and want some extra twinkle, you must visit Vallea Lumina. It is a once-in-a-lifetime experience to share with friends and family. Walkthrough the multi-media light show, a glorious tale from long ago of two hikers on a journey. This evening experience will have you believing in long-lost legends. The magical lights will dance on the trees and put on a show you’ll never forget!

The bubly Tube Park

Visit Whistler Blackcomb’s bubly Tube Park to feel the wind on your face. Fly down the track on a personal tube, get a ride up, and repeat. Not only perfect for kids of all ages but adults too! Make sure to book your tickets in advance to not miss out on the fun. Take a short ride on the Excalibur Gondola to Base II, bring warm clothes and your sense of adventure. Experience Blackcomb Mountain and all the astounding surrounding scenic views like never before.

For example, on Dec 24 & 25, The Rimrock Cafe has designed a delicious menu with lobster bisque, fennel & arugula salad, roasted free-range turkey, and a classic sticky toffee pudding to finish off the evening.
