Get Your Bikes Ready for Creekside’s Big Opening Day!

June 16th is the big opening day for Creekside Gondola access to Whistler Mountain Bike Park! Three world class bike park companies have been hard at work for months to ensure riders have great new terrain to explore this season!

Riders are Set to Enjoy 15 Kms of New Trails!

Get ready for an explosion of new dirt in Creekside. New trails are for intermediate to advanced riders only in the new Creek Zone, but the Creekside Gondola will provide access to all levels of ability in the Fitz Zone as well as the Garbanzo Zone via Expressway, Lower Freight Train, and No Joke connecting trails. Head on up to the new technical and freeride trails and see what the crew has been working so hard on for terrain-hungry riders!

The New Trails Will Leave You Breathless. Literally.

With 15 kilometres of new trails in the Creek Zone open from June 16th to September 16th, get ready for a huge range of new features, from machine-made freeride to hand-built technical single track. The five new trails represent a 20% increase in lift-accessed riding!

Whistler Mountain Biking

New Trails Built by Three Different Crews

The trails were designed and built by crews from the Whistler Mountain Bike Park as well as two other Whistler-based bike park companies. The diversity of backgrounds of the trail crews were specifically chosen to give riders tons of options and diversity. Bridges link new trails to old and take advantage of the awesome natural beauty and terrain that the Creek Zone offers in abundance.

Grab a Bite at Dusty’s Legendary Patio!

The best thing about being at Creekside is way lower lift lines for bike park access, plus an easy trip over to the legendary BBQ and phenomenal caesars at Dusty’s. Or enjoy a craft beer to reward yourself after a mind-blowing decent!

Garbanzo Bike & Bean Creekside

Garbanzo Bike and Bean Creekside Has All Your Biking Needs Covered!

Need gear? Look no further than the fully stocked GBB Creekside with helmets, protective body armour, and clothing. Need a repair? GBB’s qualified bike technicians can get you and your bike back on the trails, fast! Rentals are available at GBB and this is the place to demo the bike of your dreams. Scott, Norco and Santa Cruz bikes are all available for rent, and are Whistler Mountain Bike Park tested and approved!

As Always, Safety First

The key to enjoying your day in the park is to slowly ride any new trails that you haven’t ridden before. Get to know all the features and don’t rush that initial cruise. And take several laps of the new trails until you are really comfortable with all the features – both man-made and natural. After you know you are able to handle the terrain, you can really let ‘er rip! Always make sure your bike is well maintained and ready for action, and protective helmets, body armour and clothing are must-haves to enjoy your best day ever. Safe riding to all and enjoy the new trails!
