Art After Dark: Maker Month

Every Friday in November

Spend your November with a hands-on art experience at Art After Dark at the Audain Art Museum. Every Friday of the month you can join in and learn new techniques, terminology, and art forms over the five Fridays in November. Topics in Maker Month include working with clay, painting techniques, etched glass design, weaving, and using canvas for painting. Youth classes are from 3:30 - 5:30 pm and adult classes are from 6:30 - 8:30 pm.

Arts Whistler Holiday Market

November 24th & 25th, 2018

The ultimate one-stop shop for artisanal holiday gifts is back in Whistler for two days this November. The Arts Whistler Holiday Market, formerly known as the Bizarre Bazaar, is held in the Whistler Conference Centre and includes over 100 different vendors from along the Sea to Sky Corridor and across British Columbia. Whistler’s Holiday Market is the perfect spot to grab hand-baked treats, local artwork, jewellery, clothing, and other handmade crafts and goodies.

The Arts Whistler Holiday Market isn’t something you want to miss out on, with visits from Santa, live local music, and plenty of stalls to browse – you won’t have a dull moment.

The Whistler Film Festival is a must-do event for movie buffs, aspiring filmmakers, and industry professionals. This year the festival is in its 18th edition and scheduled with plenty of fresh new films, special guest speakers, fun events, talent programs, and the popular industry Summit. If you’ve never experienced the Whistler Film Festival before, you owe it to yourself to check out at least one event, and with so much to choose from it should be easy to find something you love!
