Did you know that Whistler Creekside is the original Whistler? Whistler Mountain opened in 1966 and Whistler Creekside was the site of the first gondola.
Whistler's Creekside is a resort within a resort, there are all the conveniences of Whistler Village offered but in a laid back setting. Creekside has a grocery store, liquor store, bike rental shop and a selection of restaurants, including Dusty’s Bar and BBQ one of the most Legendary places in all of Whistler.
There are 3 lakes with beachside parks located within a 15-minute walk of Legends. Alpha Lake Park is located on the shores of Alpha Lake, approximately a 10-minute walk from Legends. This park has a big grassy field, “Owl’s Nest” children’s play structure, a dock and sandy beach, volleyball, basketball and tennis courts, along with picnic tables and BBQ stands. It is also the site of a community greenhouse and a special beach for dogs called “Arfa Park.”
Whistler has a paved Valley Trail network that goes all throughout the valley and connects Creekside with Whistler Village. This trail goes by many of Whistler’s lakeside parks where you can stop for a swim or a nice break to take in the views.
