World Ski and Snowboard Festival
Featured EventApr 16, 2020 - Apr 26, 2020
Whistler’s 10 days World Ski and Snowboard Festival holds some of the most exciting events of the year. The festival features events and activities that celebrate mountain culture, what Whistler is all about! Events include the largest free outdoor concert series in North America, skiing and snowboarding competitions, film, photography and comedy showdowns, after dark club free ride series and much more.
After many years of working with Whistler Blackcomb in a support role, Gibbons Whistler is proud and excited to lead the World Ski & Snowboard Festival into the future. The Gibbons Team will be collaborating with artists, athletes, entrepreneurs and the community at large on the future direction and format of the festival.
Swatch ART + Soul
A show of its own kind! Swatch ART + Soul has no rules and artists do not have paint-inside-the-lines. Artists from far and wide push the boundaries to create a community of urban street and snow ingenuity. The show is held in the Grand Foyer of the Whistler Conference Center and there is no entry fee.
WSSF Outdoor Concert Series
From 2:30 pm – 5:30 pm daily the free Outdoor Concert Series takes place on the main stage in Skier’s Plaza.
WSSF After Dark

Pro Photographer Showdown
Five chosen professional photographers and one wildcard entry will have the opportunity to showcase their life's work in a 3 - 5 minute slide show for an audience of mountain enthusiasts.
Monster Energy Boarderstyle World Championships
All roads lead to Whistler, as the Monster Energy Boarderstyle World Championships crown the season’s victors at the final of the four-stop tour at WSSF. With $20,000 in prize money on the line, this one-of-a-kind snowboard contest, conceptualized by Monster Energy Canada, is a high-stakes event that’s a sight to behold.
