From February 8–16, 2025, this international competition will welcome up to 550 inspiring competitors from over 25 nations to participate in a remarkable display of athleticism and courage.
The First Winter Sports Edition
For the first time in its history, the Invictus Games will feature winter sports, adding a thrilling new dimension to the competition. These include:
- Alpine Skiing
- Alpine Snowboarding
- Biathlon
- Nordic Skiing
- Skeleton
- Wheelchair Curling
These winter sports will be showcased alongside the core Invictus Games events such as indoor rowing, sitting volleyball, swimming, wheelchair basketball, and wheelchair rugby.
The term Invictus, meaning "unconquered," reflects the spirit of the competitors as they overcome incredible challenges. The Games are not about the final results but about celebrating the participants’ strength, determination, and journey toward recovery.
