Fire and Ice Show
Get ready for live music, fire, dancers and skiers and snowboarders hitting a big air jump in the heart of Whistler Village! Head out to Whistler’s Skiers Plaza every Sunday night for the free Fire and Ice Show. Between the Whistler and Blackcomb Gondolas watch Whistler's finest skiers and riders, including Snow School's best, hit a big jump through a raging ring of fire while performing flips, twists and spins. There will also be fire spinners, dancers, a live DJ and a fireworks display to finish the evening.
Fire and Ice Show Tips:
- Put on a warm jacket and gloves – Make sure to dress warm
- Wear appropriate foot wear - You want to keep your feet dry
- Grab some hot chocolate, tea or coffee – A hot drink will be the perfect treat
- Get your family and friends to come along – Spend quality time with those you love
- Enjoy the moment, look around and allow yourself to be amazed
During your Whistler vacation, don’t miss this great weekly activity. It’s free entertainment for all ages to enjoy! The show starts at 6:30pm every Sunday night until late March 2017.
Kokanee Afterburn Party
After the show head over to the Garibaldi Lift Co. (GLC) for the Afterburn Party. Enjoy live music from Whistler's favourite band the Hairfarmers, be eligible for amazing prize giveaways from Whistler Heli-Skiing and take advantage of Kokanee Power Hour with bottles on special for $3.75 from 9:30-10:30pm. The GLC becomes an adults-only venue at 8pm.
