Policy and Safety Protocol Information

LO Policies

Get your mountain escape on the books with a no-pressure booking policy, plus more flexible deposit and cancellation policies for winter arrivals. Rest assured if plans change, we’ve made them easy to adjust or cancel.

As a part of property-wide expanded safety guidelines, certain amenities may not be available at this time. Please contact the property directly for the most up-to-date information.

Travel Restrictions:

Restrictions through May 24th: At this time we ask that you avoid personal, non-essential travel and abide by current travel restrictions through May 24th. We look forward to welcoming you soon, so keep dreaming and planning for tomorrow.

Travel Restriction Information: Travel Restrictions from other regions may currently be in effect; the provincial government has laid out travel restrictions for travellers coming into BC from out of province. Click here for BC travel restrictions.

Booking & Cancellation Policies:

*For Stays April 5, 2021 - December 16, 2021

Deposit: $0 deposit
Final Payment: Full and final payment is due 48 hours prior to arrival, at which time the reservation is non-refundable and non-changeable.
Cancellation: Reservations cancelled at least 48 hours before arrival are fully refundable. Any changes made to a reservation within the 48 hour window are non-refundable and non-changeable.
 

*For Stays December 17, 2021 - January 1, 2022

Deposit: First Night Payment in Full (non-refundable)
Final Payment: Full and final payment is due 45 days prior to arrival, at which time the reservation is non-refundable and non-changeable.
Cancellation: Reservations cancelled at least 45 days prior to arrival are refundable, excluding deposit. Any changes made to a reservation within the 45 day window are non-refundable and non-changeable.

*For Stays January 2, 2022 - April 16, 2022

Deposit: $49 deposit (non-refundable)
Final Payment: Full and final payment is due 7 days prior to arrival, at which time the reservation is non-refundable and non-changeable.
Cancellation: Reservations cancelled at least 7 days prior to arrival are refundable, excluding deposit. Any changes made to a reservation within the 7 day window are non-refundable and non-changeable.

Your payment constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.




Covid-19 Policies & Procedures:

SAFETY & CLEANING:

At Lodging Ovations we are deeply committed to the health and wellbeing of our Owners, Guests, Employees and our local Community. Closely following guidance from Federal, Provincial, and Local Health Officials, aligning best practices with our industry cohort, and building upon our own substantial brand strengths, our dedicated team of hoteliers have worked hard to implement comprehensive processes, including enhanced cleaning procedures, strict personal hygiene protocols and a long list of updated operating procedures where safety will always eclipse efficiency.

ARRIVAL:

Check in time 4pm
We are currently unable to support early check in times due to timing restrictions between reservations and additional cleaning protocols in place. 

DEPARTURE:

Check out time 11am
We are currently unable to support late check out times due to timing restrictions between reservations and additional cleaning protocols in place.   

CHECK-IN:

Please follow signage, floor markers and new protocols to support physical distancing while checking-in. We are requesting only one member of your group check-in at the Front Desk. If additional guests will be arriving separately, please obtain key cards and parking pass at check-in for your guests.

KNOW BEFORE YOU GO:

Check-in for all properties is at Legends Hotel, 2036 London Lane, Whistler, BC.
Masks are required in all public spaces including around the pool deck, during check-in, in the parkade. Know your license plate, have your booking credit card available.   

Please Note:

UPDATE: Due to current Provincial Health & Travel Restrictions, First Tracks Lodge & Evolution Whistler have closed the POOL, FITNESS ROOM & BBQ until May 24, 2021We are experiencing extremely high demand for the pool decks and with the additional operational restrictions we are unable to meet all guest requests. Please be aware you may not have the opportunity to access the pool decks during your stay.

AMENITIES:

  1. Pool deck will be open offering one time, 45-minute, timeslots and the BBQ will offer one time 30-minute timeslots*.
  2. Pool deck access can be booked online on the same morning subject to availability. Receipt of e-confirmation of the booking is mandatory for access to the pool deck.
  3. Security staff will crosscheck your booking confirmation/user-numbers and provide access.
  4. Each pool deck timeslot is followed by a 15-minute sanitizing and resetting break.
  5. Please do not book pool access every day. For example, if you book Saturday, please do not book Sunday, as you will most likely be denied to allow someone else a chance to use the pool deck. This means that when we are busy, you may at best, only receive e-confirmation to use the pool deck every other day.

*Opening hours vary by property:

Legends Whistler:
 Operating hours 2:00pm - 8:45pm. Max capacity 14 people.
Evolution Whistler:  Pool currently closed until May 24, 2021
First Tracks Lodge: Pool currently closed until May 24, 2021


BBQ ACCESS:
 Currently closed until May 24, 2021

OTHER AMENITIES:

CLOSED: Fitness room, Sauna, Steam room, Movie room, Games room

LOBBY: Lobby areas and public washrooms are closed to avoid additional public contact and loitering.

IN-SUITE: 
Non-essential items have been removed including:
Decorative pillows, bed runners, all magazines, guest directory, pen/notepad, coasters, phone book, oven mitts, paper towel holder, juice jugs, small water glass and plastic cups.

Many additional inventory items will be removed from the suites to avoid having to discard after each use even if it seems unused or un-touched. These items to include but not limited to: additional soap/shampoo, etc. These are available upon request while in-house.

GUEST REQUESTS:

Crib, Highchair. Please submit all request a minimum of 72 hours prior to arrival to ensure all safety protocols can be followed. Please email loreservations@vailresorts.com including all booking and personal request details.

HOUSEKEEPING:

Daily housekeeping will not be provided during this time.
