Aprés in Creekside

Après-Ski at the Base of Whistler Mountain

Après, from the French, simply means “after” and is used in relation to winding down after a day on the slopes. A little-known secret is that you don’t have to ski to enjoy après.

In fact, après can happen after just about anything, from shopping or a morning at the spa to just relaxing around the condo.

A Whistler Creekside Tradition

Après in Whistler Creekside is as old as Whistler Mountain itself. In the beginning a few construction trailers were jammed together, tables and chairs and a bar were moved in and Whistler’s first après venue was born. Its name? Dusty’s.

Today, Dusty’s lives on as Whistler Creekside premier patio with a spacious post and beam bar that does double time in the evening as Whistler’s largest room for live entertainment. But from early afternoon on, it’s one of the several great places to recall the runs of the day catch up with friends or just enjoy watching the day slip into night.

As a result of Whistler Creekside hosting the Canadian National BBQ Championships every summer, excellent BBQ has become a staple of après menus in the area.

Dusty's Bar & BBQ

Dusty’s Bar & BBQ is an all-around great dining and après ski/snowboard option. The massive outdoor patio provides great views of the slopes near the Whistler Creekside Gondola.

Children are welcome until 8 p.m., when it becomes Whistler’s largest permanent venue for live music.

Roland's Creekside Pub

Award-winning chef Bob Haselbach serves up the best BBQ in Creekside to sports fans, locals and hungry skiers looking for a place to unwind with a great selection of pints. Sorry, no minors.
