WSSF Logo 2013The Intersection Film Contest attracts Whistler's best local talent in the ski, snowboard & film industry. Local crews are tasked with creating a 5-7 minute video showcasing their crews talents and the surrounding Whistler terrain. Films will be judged on creativity, originality, cinematography, and best overall riding. The crew with the best overall film will be awarded $15,000 for their troubles.

In order to qualify for this hometown event film makers must shoot and produce their films in less than 8 days and within a 5-7 minute restriction. They also must feature both skiing and snowboarding and there must be at least 30 seconds of park footage & 30 seconds of WB in-bound terrain. Films must be shot entirely within a 100KM radius of Whistler and 75% of all footage must be on snow.

Four crews have met all of this year's conditions and are ready to premier their films this Friday, April 19 at the Whistler Conference Centre. This year's four entrants are: Heat Films, Leo Zuckerman, Nuulife & Voleurz. For more information on all of this year's entrants visit the WSSF website.

Due to the popularity of this event it will take place in the Whistler Conference Centre's Great Room capable of seating 1500+ people. Tickets are still available for the show for $25 but the clock is ticking and they will sell out soon.
