The top Luge athletes in the world will ascend on Whistler this weekend for the 44th Luge World Championships. Join us February 1 - 2 as more than 150 athletes representing 25 countries race down the Whistler Sliding Centre Track.

The Sliding Centre will also host a number of local food vendors, beer gardens, and nightly fireworks throughout the weekend.

If you're in Whistler this Wednesday January 30th make sure you check out the World Luge Championships Opening Ceremonies. Ceremonies will begin at 7PM in the Whistler Village square and will include the arrival of the athletes, free concerts, and a welcoming address from the Whistler Mayor.

Tickets for the World Luge Championships are only $10 and can be purchased online or live at the event. All events will be held at the Whistler Sliding Centre which is located at the bottom of Blackcomb Mountain.
