The 11th Annual Whistler Film Festival
Today, November 30, 2011 marks the first day of the Whistler Film Festival, one of Canada's leading film festivals. This 5 day event is an international film competition with a strong focus on Canadian films. Celebrating its eleventh year, the Whistler Film Festival will attract more than 10,000 attendees, 500 industry insiders and will award up to $50,000 in prizes.
Featuring more than 80 films from around the world as well as exciting celebrations, tributes, outdoor screenings and of course the amazing backdrop of Whistler Blackcomb Resort, this year's festival is a must attend. New for this year, in celebration of Pixar Animation Studio's 25th anniversary never-before-seen footage of Pixar Shorts will be shown under the roof of the Whistler Olympic Plaza on Friday December 2 and Saturday December 3 from 4 - 5:50 PM at no charge.
